A Public Forum

This blog has been created with the intention to become one of the most active social forums in India, where all those who use the internet, the so called literates can actually discuss day to day socio economic, cultural, political and all sorts of issues with fellow Indians in order to critically analyse and ascertain the actual status of the issue rather than believing the various versions of the different media. Hence if you are a patriotic Indian pledging to work for the cause, please do follow us and take part in the discussions. Make sure that you strictly restrict yourself from swears, adult contents and any jokes. Thank you all!

Short But Not Sweet

What does it make you when you say no to something or someone just because you have the power to ?

A person whom i knew from my childhood used to buy his son a lot of toys and the minute he found that his son was having fun with what he got him, he used to throw it in the attic and by the time that son reached ten years, the attic was almost a giant toy shop.
The way I see it now, at this exact co-ordinate of time, in an organization  when a lower cadre employee enjoys a few certain benefits and even though it will do nothing at all to the concern of the one superior, just to get the crude fun of superiority and control over, the lowers are denied of such small things. But little do they know and little do they care that such petty things are the ones that help getting thru the day.

Being in a noble institution can never make one noble, it comes from within.*

  1. This is so true. There is always the Upper echelon in case of our society and this difference of classes based on caste or anything for that matter (age when it comes to families) should not be there. There should only be respect for the wisdom. It is said in out mythology that Lord Shiva listened to what his son Guha had to preach and he tried to understand what his son was preaching. So it does not matter about anything else but the truth and only if all of us realise that, we would be better people!

  2. I get the message of the write up- superiority -sadistic pleasure of denying the inferior tiny things that may amount to a lot of pleasure. But the instance here.. a father denying the toy to his son, could be perceived another way. Probably the father did this for the young maturing son to realize not to set too much attachment towards one thing and be open and enthusiastic to new changes! y wud a father deprive his son of any happiness????
